The digitizing process if often criticized as taking even longer than the traditional manual approach as paper drawings for measurement are physically two dimensional ( as are the pints digitizrd into the system ) where quantity surveyors are still required to nterpret the third dimension manually , and then input it into the system during the digitizing process .
